REPORT: Bears’ Halas Hall And Home Of Defensive Coordinator Alan Williams Raided By FBI

The Chicago Bears are in complete turmoil.

Nearly a week ago, the Chicago Bears announced that defensive coordinator Alan Williams would not coach against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for “personal reasons.”

On Wednesday, head coach Matt Eberflus declined to say if Williams would be making a return to the team, telling reporters that he did not have “any update right now.”

Following Eberflus’ comments, many rumors began swirling on social media and they are not good. According to Jon Zaghloul of SportsTalkChi, Halas Hall along with Alan Williams’ home were raided by the FBI for an “undisclosed reason.”

Zaghloul went on to share that Bears legend Charles Tillman, who’s an FBI agent, broke the news about Williams to Bears HC Matt Eberflus, GM Ryan Poles and Team President Kevin Warren.

We’ll have more details on the situation as information becomes available.
