REPORT: Damar Hamlin Will Play In His First Game On Sunday Since Suffering Cardiac Arrest

Damar Hamlin’s comeback story is about to be complete.

Hamlin appears to be not rack to make his first appearance on an NFL field since going into cardiac arrest on the field in Cincinnati in Week 17 of the 2022 NFL season.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Hamlin is expected to be active for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with safety Jordan Poyer expected to miss the game.

The former sixth round-pick has been on the Bills’ 53-man roster all season, but has been a health scratch for the first three weeks of the season.

Rapoport says that Taylor Rapp will likely start in place of the injured Poyer, but Hamlin is the only other safety not eh active roster. The game will be in Buffalo so you expect a rousing response from BillsMafia when Hamlin takes the field.
