This is was a completely unnecessary cheap shot by Jerry Tillery that warranted an ejection.
During the second quarter of Sunday’s Raiders-Chargers game in SoFi Stadium, Tillery nailed Justin Herbert as he was well out of bounds.
The late hit was flagged and after a deliberation between the officials, Tillery was ejected from the game:
