Saquon Barkley is not here for Daniel Jones slander.
During the Giants’ Week 5 31-16 loss to the Miami Dolphins, quarterback Daniel Jones exited the game after suffering a neck injury. After the game, a video surfaced online showing RB Saquon Barkley, who didn’t play in the game, yelling at fans on the sidelines.
Saquon took to Twitter/X to explain the situation, saying he’s “not gonna sit there and not say anything while you talk crazy to 8 after he just got hurt.. buddy knew he was wrong.”
Barkley, who missed his third consecutive game while recovering from a high-ankle sprain, donned a black hat, black shirt and shorts at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.It’s unclear what the fan, or group of fans, said to Barkley that prompted him to shout back at them.
The Giants (1-4) have been an absolute disaster with many believing they are the worst team in the NFL. Their schedule doesn’t get easier as they will travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills on Sunday Night Football.
