The most exciting game of the early slate of games on Sunday was in Indianapolis between the Colts and Browns. It was a back and forth shoutout that ended with the Browns squeaking out a 39-38 victory thanks to a one-yard touchdown run by Kareem Hunt on 4th-and-goal with 15 seconds remaining.
Unfortunately, the ending of the game was filled with a lot of questionable calls especially in the final minutes that has Colts fans fuming.
With less than a minute remaining, it appeared that the Colts had wrapped the game up on a sack-fumble, but officials called an Indianapolis defender for illegal contact downfield, keeping the Browns alive.
Replay shows the contact was very questionable.
Then, Cleveland was set up at the 1 by a controversial pass interference call in the end zone.
Indianapolis argued that the throw was uncatchable, to no avail.
The controversy had Colts fan irate:
The Browns improved to 4-2 on the year with the big, last-second win over the Colts.
But the NFL will have some serious questions to answer about this officiating crew as we move forward in the season.
