The Vikings topped the heavily favored 49ers during Monday night’s showdown in Minneapolis, and it appeared as if Niners RB Christian McCaffrey wasn’t in the mood for a jersey swap postgame.
The star RB denied the request of Harrison Phillips, who was a college teammates of McCaffery back at Stanford.
In defense of McCaffrey, he could let him know that he’d send him one after the game, perhaps it was already spoke for, or most probable, was told to hold onto it due to the ‘consecutive games with a TD’ record being broken, but an awkward exchange nonetheless.
