Sunday’s Jets-Giants game in East Rutherford, N.J. was a battle of backup quarterbacks as Tyrod Taylor, who’s playing in place of Daniel Jones was taking on Zach Wilson, who was playing in place of Aaron Rodgers.
Unfortunately, Taylor’s day was cut short after he suffered a scary injury during the second quarter when he was slammed to the turf by C.J. Molsey on a weird play where Taylor fumbled trying to throw a pass, caught the loose ball and was dragged down.
Taylor has been ruled out for the remainder of the game and has been taken to the hospital. He was replaced by rookie Tommy DeVito:
