The Las Vegas Raiders are cleaning house.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders have fired general manager Dave Zeigler and head coach Josh McDaniels:
Raiders owner Mark Davis released the following statement:
“AFTER MUCH THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT THE RAIDERS NEED TO MOVE FORWARD, I HAVE DECIDED TO PART WAYS WITH JOSH AND DAVE. I WANT TO THANK THEM BOTH FOR THEIR HARD WORK AND WISH THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES NOTHING BUT THE BEST,” SAID LAS VEGAS RAIDERS OWNER MARK DAVIS.
The Raiders named LB coach Antonio Pierce as the team’s head coach for the rest of the season:
