Drew Lock Was Very Emotional In Postgame Interview After Leading Game-Winning Drive To Beat Eagles

Drew Lock lead the game-winning drive of his career on Monday night leading the Seahawks to a big 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite not knowing whether he was going to start in place of Geno Smith until just before kickoff, Lock mounted a wild game-winning drive capped off by a 29-yard touchdown pass to Jaxson Smith-Njigba.

That drive – a 10-play, 92-yard drive in just less than 90 seconds – was the Seahawks’ longest scoring drive of the season. Seattle’s Julian Love then intercepted Hurts one last time to seal the win.

After the game, Lock gave an emotional postgame interview to ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

“You wonder, ‘can I do this still?’ I haven’t been out there on the field. – I’m the man still. I can go do this.”

Here’s the full interview:

Lock, who made just his second start this season after Smith’s groin injury, finished throwing 22-of-33 for 208 yards with a touchdown in the win. The win brought the Seahawks back to 7-7 on the season, and kept their postseason hopes alive.
