Severe weather is threatening Houston during Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game and despite NRG Stadium having a roof, the weather is still playing a factor.
Hours before kickoff between the Michigan Wolverines (1) and Washington Huskies (2), rain leaked through the roof and onto the turf at NRG Stadium.
Video captured showed water drizzling onto the Michigan endzone during pregame warmups:
Meanwhile, fans outside the stadium were seen rushing to get inside as weather conditions worsened with high winds, rain and lightning.

The Wolverines lead the Huskies, 17-10 in the third quarter of the game.
