The Chicago Bears are sitting in prime position with the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft courtesy of their trade with the Carolina Panthers, with generational prospect Caleb Williams waiting in the wings – IF they want to take him that is.
The great debate in Chicago is if they want to stick with a Justin Fields which has shown flashes of stardom after two inconsistent seasons, or start over the process all over again with Caleb Williams, who is unquestionably a better prospect, yet still unproven.
The Bears held a press conference this week and appeared to tip their hand into what direction that with some words that appear to point in the direction of a team that will be heading into year three with Fields.
