REPORT: Over 60 Million American Adults Are Expected To Wager Over $20 Billion On Super Bowl 58

Sports gambling has become a huge part of professional sports as more and more U.S. states legalize it and because of this, we are expected to see a historic amount of money wagered on Super Bowl LVIII this weekend.

According to the American Gaming Association, 67.8 million American adults are expected to wager on Super Bowl LVIII, with an estimated $23.1 billion in total money being wagered on the game.

“A record 67.8 million American adults (26%) are expected to bet on Super Bowl LVIII, a 35 percent increase from 2023, according to a new American Gaming Association (AGA) survey. Bettors plan to wager an estimated $23.1 billion on this year’s Big Game, up from $16 billion last year,” the organization said in a press release.

The AGA also reports that bettors are pretty much split on the Chiefs and 49ers with 47% betting on the Chiefs to 44% betting on the 49ers.
