REPORT: Nick Sirianni Lost Control And Couldn’t Control Emotions On Sidelines After ‘Big Dom’ Was Suspended

As it turns out, “Big Dom” Dom DiSandro’s suspension was the biggest impact of the Eagles collapse in the final six games of the season.

According to Derrick Gunn of JAKIB Sports, Big Dom was a big part in keeping Eagles head coach Nick Siranni’s emotions in check on the sideline and during his suspension, Nick “got into numerous arguments” with players and coaches on the sidelines during games.

The suspension for “Big Dom”, the Eagles’ chief security officer, came after an altercation with 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw during the Eagles Week 13 loss.

The Eagles never really recovered from that 42-19 loss to the Niners. After starting the season 10-1, the Eagles lost five of their final six games before a 32-9 playoff loss to the Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card Game.

Despite the colossal collapse, the Eagles retained Nick Siranni but replaced both his offensive and defensive coordinators. Kellen Moore will take over as the OC while Vic Fangio will take over as DC in 2024.
