The NFL is making a major change to the in-season Hard Knocks series for 2024.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the show will now focus on an entire division rather than one team, the NFL’s chief media and business officer Brian Rolapp said.
The move comes as the league wanted to lighten the load on one specific team and help producers with storytelling, and ease competitive concerns, the Sports Business Journal’s Ben Fischer reports.
The 2024 campaign will be the fourth year HBO has done an in-season edition. The Indianapolis Colts (2021), Arizona Cardinals (2022), and Miami Dolphins (2023) were previously featured. The training camp edition has aired since 2001.
