Photo Of Jayden Daniels’ Elbow Going Viral Ahead Of 2024 NFL Draft

Jayden Daniels’ 2023 season with the LSU Tigers was historic and it led to him winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy.

It’s also a big reason why he’s expected to be a top 5 pick in next months’ 2024 NFL Draft but on Wednesday, his situation got a bit more intriguing.

A photo surfaced of Daniels’ elbow as people started to notice it looked a bit odd in a photo posted by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:

Jesse Morse, a well-known physician, gave his input into what his condition could be. His description makes sense:

Jayden Daniels appears to be dealing with olecranon bursitis of his right throwing elbow.

This is an inflammation of the bursa, which is a sac that is usually empty and is there to protect the bone underneath. We have them in several joints including the elbow and the knee.… pic.twitter.com/7y324FXHFP

The viral photo led to more images emerging of Daniels’ elbow around social media.

It doesn’t look like Daniels’ elbow will impact his draft stock as he is scheduled to meet with the Patriots, Commanders, Giants, Vikings, Broncos, and Raiders, per his agent Ron Butler. 

The 2024 NFL Draft is set to begin on April 27th.
