Saquon Barkley Says His “Family Got Threats” After He Left Giants To Sign With Eagles (VIDEO)

Saquon Barkley’s decision to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t sit well with New York Giants fans and some of them went too far.

Appearing on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, the new Eagles running back said he received some heavy backlash from angry Giants fans after his decision.

Barkley was discussing Tiki Barber’s “he’s dead to me” comment.

“I’m not saying you got to have loyalty to me because I don’t care for that, to be honest,” Barkley continued. “But you are an ex-NFL player, an ex-NFL athlete. Don’t feed into the B.S. Let fans do that. They’re supposed to do that. They’re emotional.”

“That means I made an impact at some point,” Barkley said. “That’s the reason fans are so torn apart about it. I see my jersey getting burned. My family’s getting threats.”

Barkley’s first game back in East Rutherford sure will be an experience.
