Amari Cooper Seems To Be For Trade To 49ers Amid Rumors Of Browns Offer For Brandon Aiyuk: “I Wouldn’t Mind”

The Cleveland Browns attempt to acquire a Brandon Aiyuk, the disgruntled 49ers wide reciever, may have created a disgruntled wide receiver in their own locker room.

According to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, the San Francisco 49ers had a deal in place to send Aiyuk to the Browns for Cooper, a second-round pick, and a fifth-round pick. The trade didn’t go through because Aiyuk didn’t want to sign a long-term contract with Cleveland.

Many believed it would’ve been a great trade for the 49ers as they would be receiving both draft compensation and one of the better wide receivers in the league.

Apparently, so does Amari Cooper. The star wideout responded to this trade rumor on Instagram.

“Lol I wouldn’t mind at all,” Cooper wrote on his Instagram Story.

Cooper has been a consistent playmaker for the Cleveland Browns the past two seasons, racking up 2,410 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns during that span.

He’s clearly an important part of their offense and now that they don’t have the opportunity to acquire Brandon Aiyuk, Cleveland better work on mending the fences with Cooper if they want any success in 2024.
