The New York Jets got their first win of the season on Sunday but it didn’t come without a cost.
Their rising star pass rusher Jermaine Johnson suffered a torn Achilles during the team’s 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season.
Johnson went down in the third quarter of the Jets’ win over the Titans as he attempted to rush the quarterback. He remained on the field before he was eventually carted off.
The injury will only add to the pressure of the Jets settling that situation with Haason Reddick, who remains a holdout after the Jets traded for him this past offseason.
