Drake Maye’s day might be over.
During the first quarter of Saturday’s Chargers-Patriots game at Gillette Stadium, Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye took off for a scramble and ended up taking a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit from Chargers cornerback Cam Hart.
Maye stayed down for a bit but was able to walk off on his own power. He was taken into the blue medical tent and eventually left the field and went into the Patriots locker room. The Patriots list Maye questionable to return.
