REPORT: ‘Belief’ Is The Giants Are ‘High’ On Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders

The New York Giants are set to embark on a crucial offseason with the biggest need being the quarterback position and they reportedly have their sights set on one in the NFL Draft.

According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, the “belief” during the season was that the Giants were high on Colorado star Shedeur Sanders. Raanan added that the the Giants could pursue a trade for a veteran such as Derek Carr.

“Nothing should be ruled out,” Raanan wrote about their quarterback situation.

The Giants own the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and the two teams ahead of them – Titans and Browns – are also in the market for a starting quarterback.

The Giants don’t have a quarterback under contract for next season. Drew Lock and Tim Boyle are set to become unrestricted free agents. Tommy DeVito will be an exclusive rights free agent as a player with fewer than three accrued seasons and an expired contract so they will likely be adding one in free agency and in the Draft.

Will it be Shedeur Sanders? We’ll see.
