Jerry Jones Started Crying During Brian Schottenheimer’s Introductory Press Conference

The Dallas Cowboys kicked off a new era after letting head coach Mike McCarthy walk in the offseason. The decision received plenty of criticism from fans and people in the media, as the organization waited until deep into the head coaching interview process before moving off McCarthy.

The Cowboys decided to hire their offensive coordinator Biran Schottenheimer, a decision that shocked so many people, considering Schottenheimer wasn’t even considered for any other of the other openings around the NFL. On top of that, the Cowboys didn’t even interview any of the other top candidates including Ben Johnson and Aron Glenn.

During the introductory press conference for their new head coach, Jerry Jones started getting emotional when discussing Schottenheimer.

It’s a bizarre time with the Dallas Cowboys right now.
