The Dallas Cowboys are set to make history in 2025.
On Wednesday, the NFL released their 2025-26 schedule and the Cowboys’ schedule includes five primetime games and of those primetime games, four of them will be played on Thursday. It’s the first time in NFL history that any team will play four games on a Thursday.
Their first of those Thursday games will be the September 4 Week 1 opener against the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. Then the Cowboys will host their Thanksgiving ritual against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Thursday after, in Week 14, they’ll head to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions.
Finally, the Cowboys will head to Northwest Stadium on a Thursday Christmas Day game to take on the rival Washington Commanders.
Any given Sunday.. but in the case of the Dallas Cowboys, any given Sunday or Thursday?!
