The Cleveland Browns and running back Quinshon Judkins have agreed on a contract.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Judkins has signed a four-year, fully guaranteed deal worth $11.4 million.
Judkins, one of the Browns’ two 2025 second-round draft picks, is not expected to play in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but will likely be avaiable in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Legal issues have helped up Judkins from starting his professional career after he was arrested in July. Last month, the Broward State Attorney’s Office announced the Ohio State product would not face formal misdemeanor battery charges after prosecutors declined to move forward with the case due to several factors, including “late reporting of the alleged incident to police, no surveillance video, and no independent witnesses.”
Judkins was accused of punching a woman in the chin/lip area, arm and thigh at an airport. Prosecutors declined to move forward with the case due to late reporting, a lack of video and a lack of witnesses to the alleged incident.
While Judkins will not face charges, the NFL could still discipline the running back.
