Saudia Arabia’s interest in football doesn’t stop at the Flag Football Classic.
According to David Hellier of Bloomberg.com, Saudi Arabia has become the latest country to want to host an international NFL game.
“Britain got it, Brazil got it,” Price Turki Alalshikh said Thursday, per Hellier. “Hopefully, Saudi Arabia will be next.”
Saudi Arabia currently has two stadiums that have the capacity to hold an NFL game. King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh holds 70,000 people and King Abdullah Sports City Stadium holds 62,000.
With the NFL continuing to expand its international series, it makes sense for the Arab world to dip their toes into American football.
