The Dallas Cowboys have their sights set on their Micah Parsons replacement.
According to former ESPN anchor and current host of Straight Facts Home! Trey Wingo, the Cowboys have “made inquires” about a potential trade for Las Vegas Raiders pass-rusher Maxx Crosby.
Crosby, 28, is in the midst of his seventh NFL season, all of which have been spent with the Raiders.
The 2019 fourth-round pick out of Eastern Michigan has been named a Pro Bowler in each of the past four seasons, and he is perhaps trending toward a fifth Pro Bowl selection in a row with four sacks, 28 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, one interception and one forced fumble through seven games.
Following the report, Clarence Hill Jr. came out to dispute Wingo’s report, saying that the Cowboys have not contacted the Raiders about trading for Crosby.
Crosby signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders in March, meaning he is under contract through the 2029 season.
However, the Raiders have struggled to a 2-5 start, and they have shown no signs of being a playoff contender despite key additions in quarterback Geno Smith, rookie running back Ashton Jeanty and head coach Pete Carroll.
