The Houston Texans have been struck by the injury bug this season and it’s specifically has targeted their quarterback position.
They lost starter DeShaun Watson to a season-ending knee injury, then lost backup Tom Savage and last week, Houston lost third string QB T.J. Yates and were forced to play their fourth string quarterback Taylor Heinicke.
Heinicke played nine snaps against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. The most amazing thing about Heinicke’s brief career was that he barely beat out Quavious Marshall’s single-game completions record (28) among high schools in Gwinnett County, Georgia a few years ago.
The Houston Texans have quite possibly filled every single hospital in the area with the amount of players that have been injured during the 2017 season. The injury bug struck again on Christmas when back-up to the back-up QB T.J. Yates went down and the team was forced to put in quarterback Taylor Heinicke. Who? Mike Jones!

In case you guys didn’t know, Quavious Marshall is currently from the hip-hop group Migos:
Taylor Heinicke, now in at QB for Houston, broke Quavious Marshall’s completions in a game record for Gwinnett Country.

Since high school, Quavo has put together a successful music career, while Taylor saw his first game action since going undrafted in 2015 out of Old Dominion.
Once news got to Quavo, the Migos performer took to Instagram and reached out to the Houston Texans, telling them to call him if they need help at QB:
I’m willing to bet Quavo would get a call for a job in the NFL before Kaepernick.
