LeBron James came to the post-game press conference after getting swept in the 2018 NBA Finals with a soft cast on his right hand, shortly after mentioning it was “pretty much broken” due to what we learned was caused by punching a white board after the loss in Game 1.
Though it seemed like an opportunistic time to present perhaps a reasoning behind his lackluster performance facing elimination, video of James both doing pushups prior to Game 2 and giving his sons handshakes with the same hand after Game 4 put into question the severity of the injury.
