If you’ve been keeping up with this season of HBO’s Hard Knocks, you’ve likely become familiar with Bob Wylie, offensive line coach of the Cleveland Browns.
Wylie, who’s hard the miss with a gut bigger than all of his lineman and a mustache Andy Reid would be jealous of, was shown in episode 3 venting to one of his players about how stupid the notion of stretching before practice is.
“World War I and World War II… they did push-ups, jumping jacks, sit-ups… they won two World Wars! You think they were worried when they were running across Normandy about fucking stretching?”
