The running back was cut by the Chiefs after video surfaced showing the 23-year-old running back assaulting a women in a Cleveland hotel earlier last year.
Months after being released, Hunt was picked up by the Cleveland Browns, who reportedly knew the prospective suspension would be anywhere from 8-10 games upon doing so. Until now, Hunt had remained on the Commissioner’s Exempt List.
Hunt will accept the punishment and not appeal.
Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson will remain the 1-2 punch in the backfield for the Browns for the majority of this season until Hunt returns.
