BREAKING: Jaguars Hiring Former Jacksonville QB Byron Leftwich As Next Head Coach

Byron Leftwhich is coming home.

The former 7th overall draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars will now be returning to Jacksonville, this time with a head set instead of a helmet.

Leftwhich, who began his coaching career after ten seasons as player in Arizona as an intern with the Cardinals, rose up the ranks to Quarterbacks coach and eventually to interim offensive coordinator. After being fired in 2018, Leftwhich was reunited with Bruce Arians in Tampa Bay, where he was brought on as offensive coordinator and lead Brady and the Bucs to a Super Bowl title.

One year later, and he’ll reportedly be hired by the Jaguars as their next head coach replacing the failed Urban Meyer experiment.
