The Dallas Cowboys are once again having their training camp take place in Oxnard, California.
During an appearance on 96.7 The Ticket on Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made an interesting comment about the weather in The Golden State.
“You look around and say no wonder California folks are as laid back as they are and smile as much as they do,” Jones said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “Now, it may be something that’s in the air, too. The weed out here has a lot going on.”
The Cowboys have held training camp in California for 44 years. That won’t change anytime soon, regardless of the aroma in the air.
“America’s Team” will kick off its preseason schedule on Aug. 12 against the Jaguars.
