Helmet Was Thrown Into Air In Fight During Packers-Patriots Joint Practice

It’s that time of the year again with joint practices during training camp taking place all around the league.

And with joint practices comes fights.

On Wednesday the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers took the field and got into six fights, with some going further than the others.

Today, it was the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots turn to get into it. That was certainly the case this afternoon when a full-on scuffle broke out between the two teams.

Someone decided to take things a step further and launch a helmet into the air.

Thankfully no one was injured by the flying helmet. In fact, one of the referees at the game made a nice catch as the helmet came tumbling back to Earth.

Fights between NFL teams in joint practice are nothing new. Helmets flying through the air, however, are.
