The Jaxson Dart era started in New York on Sunday and it was quite the first impression.
Dart led the Giants to a shocking 21-18 win over the unbeaten Los Angeles Chargers with the rookie signal caller throwing for 111 yards and one touchdown while also running for 54 yards and a rushing touchdown.
After the big win, Dart was asked about the win and credited Russell Wilson, who was benched in favor of Dart, for the win.
“I want to give a big shoutout to Russell Wilson. I know this week probably wasn’t the easiest thing but he handled it like a professional. Have a ton of respect for him.”
Dart and the Giants will look to make it two in a row in Week 5 when they travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.
