The Cincinnati Bengals are in the midst of another disaster season and their fanbase is fed up.
A digital billboard went up on Thursday in downtown Cincinnati appears to call for the team to fire clean house. The digital sign reads: “Fire Zac. Fire Duke. Save Burrow.”
The sign refers to Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and director of player personnel Duke Tobin, who are under fire with the Bengals set to miss the playoffs for the third straight season.
The Bengals’ loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship in January 2023 was the last time that quarterback Joe Burrow and Taylor made the playoffs, missing in each of the last three seasons and leaving a fanbase restless for a return to success.
The Bengals have four winning seasons in Taylor’s seven seasons in charge, with back-to-back AFC North division championships in 2021 and 2022.
