Joe Burrow Says 2026 Bengals Have The “Most Talented Roster” Since He’s Been There

Joe Burrow is a really big fan of the Cincinnati Bengals offseason.

Speaking with reporters last week, Burrow complimented the work the team’s front office did in the offseason to overhaul the roster that missed the playoffs in each of his last three season.

But after a slew of acquisitions, including a very unlikely trade for Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, Burrow said he believes this is the best collection of players he has played with in seven seasons, including the team that was in Super Bowl LVI after the 2021 season.

“I think this is the most talented roster that we’ve had since I’ve been here,” Burrow said after Wednesday’s voluntary workout.

Everything looks good on paper but it’s hard to argue Burrow’s point. The defense is younger and expected to be better and the offensive line has improved, as well.

The Bengals open the 2026 season on Sept. 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
