Though there has been debate on whether denying a child an autograph simply because of his jersey is fair or foul, Kamil Bautista will be in a sea of “wrong jerseys” come later this season.
Giants star RB Saquon Barkley saw the video and reached out the 11-year-old and his family, offering them flights and tickets to the Giants game against the Jets at MetLife Stadium on November 10. Barkley will fly the family out and give them a meet-and-greet as well as the full VIP treatment.
Following the incident, Lawrence defended his decision to not give an fan of the opposing team an autograph, but then apologized after more the criticism continued.
