LeSean McCoy Predicted Nathan Peterman Would Throw 5 INTs Days Ago

LeSean McCoy probably wishes he never said this. The Buffalo Bills made a shocking change at quarterback this week, making the switch from Tyrod Taylor to rookie Nathan Peterman.

Peterman didn’t exactly pan out the way the Bills had hoped, throwing five interceptions in a 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Before it got even uglier, Peterman was pulled at halftime after he threw five, yes five interceptions.

Bills running back LeSean McCoy predicted that Peterman would have a game like this in the days leading up to the disastrous game as he spoke to reporters about the Bills decision to make the QB change earlier in the week:

Here’s the full McCoy quote:

“I mean, he’s a guy that has never played in the NFL in a real game. So you never know — it could be good or bad. You just never know. So I can’t really give you an honest answer. He’s gonna go out there, he’s gonna dominate, he’s gonna throw for four or five touchdowns or is he gonna go for five picks? I don’t know.”

After the game, Bills head coach Sean McDermott would not commit to a starter for the team’s Week 12 game vs Kansas City.
