A Philadelphia Church Held Prayer For Carson Wentz During Christmas Service

The city of Philadelphia really loves their quarterback, Carson Wentz.

Earlier this month, the Eagles saw their quarterback go down with a season-ending knee injury during the team’s win over the Rams in Los Angeles.

It was a devastating injury for Eagles fans and the city of Philadelphia, which saw their Super Bowl hopes take a major hit.

The city has been craving a Super Bowl for a long time so I don’t blame them for doing something like this for their ‘savior’, Carson Wentz.

A church in Philadelphia made Wentz an interracial part of their Christmas Eve service. Interracial, as in including him in the Parrish’s ‘prayers for the sick’ section:

We get it Philly, the injury hit home and while we hope Wentz makes a full recovery but even this is a bit much.

As for the Wentz-less Eagles, they can lock up home field throughout the NFC playoffs with a victory over the Oakland Raiders on Christmas.
