It’s safe to say you either love or hate Cam Newton, and Seahawks fans seem to be on the side of the latter.
After topping the Seahawks in a wild game last weekend in Carolina, the Panthers QB snatched a 12th man flag from an apparent Panthers who handed it to him, and tossed it, to which the 12s took great exception to. Open letters and tweets were dished out bashing the proclaimed “classless” QB, but now they’ve taken in a step further.
Seahawks fans have actually created a petition on the popular Change.org, in attempt to ban Newton from their stadium, CentryLink field. The petition’s description reads:
Cam Newton is one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual on the face of the planet. So I say for the 2016-2017 when the Panthers come to play in Seattle he should be banned from entering the stadium. This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!
What’s even crazier? The thing has hundred upon hundreds of signatures.
