The Rams moving to Los Angeles means they have a lot of people that can help attract free agents to join them. One of those people is Los Angeles legend Magic Johnson.
During ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon‘, Magic tried made his formal pitch to Peyton to join the Los Angeles Rams if he indeed gets released by the Denver Broncos and has the heart to continue playing football.
Manning, 39, really has nothing else to prove, he became the only starting quarterback in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. It makes sense for Manning to walk away from the game on top — especially since he has trouble throwing the football down the field.
Now if Manning does decide to return for 2016 and the Broncos do decide to cut him, which makes all the sense considering Manning has a $21M cap hit and the successor Brock Osweiler is also a free agent, Los Angeles does makes the most sense for Manning.
Peyton has yet to announce whether he will be retiring but going to Los Angeles is a long shot right now.
