REPORT: Le’Veon Bell Facing Possible Suspension After Alledgedly Skipping Drug Test

With the Steelers already down one star player, they can’t afford to lose another. The another may be star Le’Veon Bell.

Radio host Mark Madden apparently has some inside sources close to the Steelers that told him Bell skipped a drug test and may face repercussions that include a suspension.

As you can imagine, that set off a panic among Steelers fans; the team already lost wide receiver Martavis Bryant for the year because he violated the league’s substance-abuse policy, and Le’Veon Bell, arguably the NFL’s best back, missed two games last season for DUI and marijuana possession. Bell’s also a key cog in a potent Steelers offense that would become considerably less so in his absence.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Mark Kaboly, when asked about the report, Bell replied to the rumors with “I don’t know what you are talking about.” He added, “People are going to say what they want to say on the internet. It is people who really have nothing to do. I don’t get upset or let it bother me.”

The Steelers running back did miss 3 games last season for failing a drug test, a move that can’t be repeated if the Steelers want to contend for a Super Bowl, which they have the roster, unsuspended roster that is, to do so.
