Cam Newton Breaks The NFL Record For Career Rushing Touchdowns By A Quarterback

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton became the NFL’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns by a quarterback on Thursday night, breaking Hall of Famer Steve Young’s record.

Newton recorded his 44th rushing touchdown with a two-yard TD run. The touchdown breaks the NFL record since the merger and ties Otto Graham’s mark of 44 rushing touchdowns. A record that is over 50 years old.

Newton also has a touchdown pass in this game, it’s the 32nd time in Newton’s career that he’s thrown a touchdown and rushed for touchdown in the same game.

Cam Newton is still 27-years old and in his sixth season in the NFL. I’m going to go out on a limb and say we’re not done seeing Cam Newton score touchdowns threw the air and on the ground.
