Karma? Days After Trying To Injure Two Patriots, Vontaze Burfict Carted Off Practice Field

burfict1In just the span of one playoff game last season and the first two games he’s played in this year, Vontaze Burfict has inarguably vaulted himself ahead of Ndamukong Suh as the NFL’s ‘dirtiest’ player.

The Bengals star linebacker was slapped with a $75,000 fine yet no suspension for attempting to deliberately injure two Patriots in the Bengals game vs New England Sunday, in what looked like trying to take out TE Martellus Bennett’s knee during a play, as well as standing on the leg on RB LaGarette Blount in a pile after a play.

Though the league didn’t think the video’s showed enough proof to warrant a suspension, it’s seems as if karma has taken punishment into it’s own hands.

Burfict was reportedly carted off of the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice field Wednesday after severely rolling his ankle.

There is no word yet on his status for the teams game on Sunday vs the Browns.
