Despite being 2-7 and in the conversation for being one of the worst teams in the NFL outside the Cleveland Browns, Bears LB Pernell McPhee still decided to take a shot at the surging New York Giants who will host the Bears on Sunday.
McPhee met with reporters earlier in the week and sent a clear message to Giants quarterback Manning, saying the Bears plan on “tearing his ass up.”

Eli Manning did respond to McPhee’s comments in typical Eli fashion:
“Like I said, they have a good defensive line,” Manning said in typical Eli fashion after the quote was read to him. “They’re getting a lot of sacks.
