The NFL was a few degrees of an angle off seeing their third tie of the season.
After electing not to punt and kick a 62-yard field goal, Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak went for the game-winner, which was shanked to the left. The miss gave the Chiefs the ball at their own 48, only to be driven down into field goal range themselves.
With 5 seconds to go, Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos kicked a game-winning FG which somehow went into after blasting off the left upright, sneaking through with a inch to spare, preventing the tie.
