Former NFL RB Trent Richardson Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge

HOOVER, AL – Trent Richardson, the NFL’s first blind running back and former Alabama star was arrested today in Hoover, Alabama on a domestic violence charge.

The arrest stems from a 911 call reporting a possible domestic disturbance at the Hyatt Place Hotel at 8:05 p.m., reporting yelling coming from one of the guest rooms.

The argument between a single male (later identified as Richardson) and a single female allegedly got physical, with the female sustaining injuries including scratches and bruising to her face.

Hoover Fire Department paramedics had to be dispatched to check the victim’s injuries, who was treated at the scene. Richardson was detained “without incident.” But let’s be honest, if he tried to run, he would only make it two yards before being tackled by police.

The 26-year-old, who has been released on bond, was been charged with third-degree domestic violence.

A court date for Richardson, who was accused of assault by two women in 2013, has not yet been set.

The former running back is out of a job after playing portions of four seasons with the Browns and Colts, having been released last August after a knee injury prevented him from seeing the field.

Apparently Trent is now hitting women after being unable to hit holes in the NFL.
