The National Football League has teamed up with The Ad Council to create a video in their “Love has no Label” series using their Kiss Cam to show the difference faces of love.
The ad demonstrates the message perfectly, showing that love really has no labels. The ad features two same-sex couples, including a survivor of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando last June.
Alexandra Bruell of the Wall Street Journal says the ad is a step in the right direction for the NFL as it tries to re-built it’s image:
While the NFL’s brand isn’t featured in the spot, it centers on professional football imagery and is a chance for the league to burnish its image after a string of controversies, including rising concerns over concussions, the “deflategate” legal saga.
The ad was reportedly shot at the 2017 Pro Bowl, which was held in Orlando.
