Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin Arrested After Car Crashes Into Bar, Injuring Multiple People

Former TCU star and current Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested early Monday morning after a car crashed into a Dallas bar, injuring five people.

Boykin was the passenger in the vehicle when the woman driving drove into Sidebar around 2 a.m.. He was arrested for possession of marijuana and public intoxication, while the female driver was arrested on a charge of suspicion of DUI.

Four people standing on the sidewalk at the time were hit along with a bartender inside the club, with three of them were taken to the hospital.

Originally signed as an un-drafted free agent, Boykin played well under center for the majority of the Seahawks 2016 preseason.

This being his second arrest in two years, Boykin is still on probation from an incident dating back to his college days where he was charged with public intoxication,assaulting a public servant, and resisting arrest after punching an officer. The incident occurred before he was set to play in the Alamo Bowl with TCU.
