The two predominant topics thought the first half of the 2017 NFL season have been the National Anthem protest and injuries – injuries to the sport’s biggest stars.
Not just have some of the league’s biggest names suffered injuries that have sat them for a few weeks, but injuries that have landed them on the injured reserved.
Topped off by perennial Pro-Bowler Jason Peters of the Eagles going down with a season ending injury just last night, there is now an all-IR team that would undoubtably win the Super Bowl every year if healthy.
