Browns Allow Clock To Run Out With Ball On The 2-Yard Line Before Halftime

The phrase ‘This is the most Browns play in the history of the Browns’ is thrown around often. This is no exception.

With a second down with 15 seconds left on the clock in the first half, the Browns had the ball on the 2-yard line with a chance to tack on seven going into halftime.

That ended with disaster when the Browns elected to run the ball instead of pass it without a timeout in their pocket, forcing them to have to gather themselves and re snap the football if they didn’t get it. Needless to say, they didn’t get it.
